Thumbs Up From Lewis |
Lewis Hamilton once again qualified second with a strong set of qualifying rounds. Q3 was very comfortable for Lewis on the hard tyres but all the weaker teams decided to go for the option tyre (faster yellow compound) and Lewis was almost pushed out of Q2. Lewis survived unlike Michael Schumacher and had a strong Q2. Lewis had two runs in Q3 and managed to get himself a place on the front row coming in at second. 1.32.442 was Vettel pole time and Lewis was only a tenth behind Vettel so the front row is very close.
A lot can happen overnight so we really can't say who has the real pace in this interesting GP. I am predicting tyre strategy to be key with pitstops playing a key role in securing the Bahrain GP number one spot for tomorrow.
Any thoughts and opinionsabout todays qualifying?
