A fantastic race for the spectators spanning 1 hour and 38 minutes was the best one so far this year.
With Mark Webber struggling at the start of the race Lewis found inspiration straight from the start and pounched on a poor start to put himself first.
Alonso, Hamiltons arch rival was always creeping upto Lewis' car and took the lead of him for a short period. Luckily Lewis found Alonso napping and caught him on corner 2 on the outside. David Caulthard regarded this as a deciding factor towards Hamiltons win today.
Hamilton celebrated on his team radio: "Great job guys, great job. Keep pushing, these are the results we can get, it's amazing."
Emotions looked high for Lewis near the end of the press conference and it great to see him back lloking ever-so more passionate about his work.
